- The Shard
The engrossing view from this building is something you should not miss. You might have seen this building in many movies/series as well. This iconic tallest building in London has many restaurants as well. You could just go for the view or book a table in any of the restaurants there. But the view from the shard gives you access to 68-69 levels of the building and with restaurants, of course, it depends on which level they are.
The price of the view depends on the ticket you want to purchase. Check out their website here for all the details on ticket prices. - Sky Garden
This is one place with a lovely view and the best part is you can visit it for free. Just book a free ticket on their website and head out for this mesmerizing view.
It has a couple of restaurants as well which you can check out and book a table on their website. You do not need a separate ticket for the garden if you already have a table booked at any of the restaurants. - Primrose Hill
This beautiful park/hill in Camden has a nice panoramic view of London city. It’s free to visit. I won’t say best but yes it is beautiful (though it’s quite far). I went there to see the London Eye fireworks on new year’s eve. Though it’s not that clear, of course, but visible and looked beautiful.
Definitely, a place to visit on a bright sunny day. - Greenwich Park
Now, this is a huge free green space to see a panoramic view of London city. A very nice place to spend your summer evenings on a date with your better half or even for your little one’s play date. - London Eye
Yes, this is one famous London tourist attraction. The view from here is breathtaking, looking over the center of the city. The Golden gallery which is situated at the highest point of the dome has the most beautiful panoramic views. Visit their website for more details. - Parliament Hill
This is the open parkland at the corner of Hampstead Heath with such mesmerizing London city view. This is a perfect place to visit during summer. - London Bridge and Tower Bridge
The tower bridge offers you a view with a nice glass floor. It is free if you live in certain areas of London otherwise it is just £10.20 for adults and half the price for children. Check out all the details here on their website. So, this is to get to the top of the bridge.
You do not need a ticket to cross the bridge. It has a nice walkway built for walkers where you can actually stop and click some pictures.
On the other hand, there is London Bridge which is actually a normal bridge to cross over but has a beautiful panoramic view of the city.
