This area boasts museums, restaurants, and stunning views to pass the time as you await your evening cruise. Additionally, don’t miss the Montparnasse Tower, which offers an equally mesmerizing view of the city center, complete with a view of the Eiffel Tower.
The Arc de Triomphe
The Arc de Triomphe stands proudly at the western end of Champs-Élysées. This iconic monument honors those who fought and died for France during the revolutionary wars, with the names of French victories and generals inscribed on its inner and outer surfaces. One of the best ways to truly absorb the beauty of Paris is by walking. While the city’s public transportation is excellent, I found that exploring on foot allowed me to stop and appreciate the beauty of the city at my own pace. It’s also an excellent way to stay active while on vacation.
