London is the city of dreams with countless places to visit and attractions you will never forget. Today I have got a list of some topmost attractions that you should not miss while in London.
Many of these attractions are part of the Merlin pass which offers membership as well as the flexibility to choose your own attractions.
Also, Check out attractions you could visit to see the London skyline views from the highest points in the city. Best Part? Not every attraction is paid. 😊

1. Warner Bros Harry Potter studio
Are you a potter fan? Then you have to visit this place. It is a marvelous experience that gives you chance to be in the magical potter surroundings and feel the vibe.

2. Sea Life Aquarium, London
This is a lovely place and so mesmerizing, I couldn’t just get over it. Sealife is at many other locations in the UK and not only in London. If you would like to watch life under sea without actually diving in the sea then yes.. this is the place.
I have aquaphobia so it is really difficult for me to even think of going inside the water (Scuba diving) gives me chills. So, this was the best place for me to see the beautiful life inside the sea. Okay, I will stop talking now, below are some pictures to motivate you to visit here.

Address: Sea Life Aquarium, SE1 7PB
Nearest train Station: Waterloo
Price: Standard ticket from £27

Sea Life London

3. Tower Bridge
Tower Bridge is the most famous of all attractions in London. It houses an exhibition in its victorian engine rooms with a glass walkway. The Tower Bridge is definitely more than just the views of London.
If you are someone who is interested in history then this tour is for you. How amazing it is to know about the people who kept the bridge going, developed the tech used by the bridge with time.
Tip: Sync your timing with the bridge lift time to enjoy the direct river views below your feet from the glass walkway.

Address: Tower Bridge Tour, SE1 2UP
Nearest train Station: Waterloo
Price: Tickets from £10.60 for Adult

4. Madame Tussauds
All-time famous attraction, not only here in London but in many other cities worldwide. This is a fabulous experience, with wax figures of all the famous personalities based on the categories like music, acting, fictional characters, politics, and many more. Of course, there are members of the Royal Family as well. Included in Merlin.
There is a 4D Marvel Universal experience which is NOT part of the standard ticket. But, it’s totally fine to go for a standard ticket or combine it with 4D, it’s available for an extra £5.

Address: Marylebone Rd, London NW1 5LR
Nearest Underground Station: Baker Street
Price: £30 for a standard ticket

5. London Eye
Okay, so this place needs no introduction. After Tower Bridge, this is the second place that comes to anyone’s mind whenever they talk or think about London.
The enthralling 360-degree views of London city and the pod experience on the south bank of the River Thames, undoubtedly make this the most famous tourist attraction of London city.

Address: London Eye, SE1 7PB
Nearest train Station: Waterloo
Price: Standard ticket from £27

6. The view from Shard
This is my personal favorite, the 360 degrees London city views with a glass of drink or ice creams from the tallest building in the United Kingdom. What makes this even more special is the variety of restaurants in the building. It is not only about the views but also about luxury restaurants.
Or you can just go up to the top floor and see the London skyline from the highest viewpoint (like I did 😜). It is totally worth a visit.

Address: 32, London Bridge St,  SE1 9SG
Nearest train station: London Bridge tube station
Price: Standard ticket from £30

7. Tower of London
Another one for history lovers. From Crown jewels (including Kohinoor) to the queen’s wedding dress. This huge and beautiful palace has it all. Not only the pretty side but also the infamous prison, bloody tower, and Torture at the Tower exhibition.

Address: Tower of London, London, EC3N 4AB
Nearest train Station: Tower hill
Price: £29.90 for an adult (Or go for a membership with 4 to 5 other royal attractions)

8. National History Museum
This place will totally surprise you. Though, if you are in the UK for a long time then you might have already been here by now but if you haven’t then… now is the time my friend… do not miss out on this place anymore.
It is perfect for kids but even better for adults who are interested in history, science, museums, and exhibitions.
The museum is free to visit but you will have to get the tickets and time slot booked on their website for free. The exhibitions are though paid based on which one you want to visit.

Address: Cromwell Rd, South Kensington, London SW7 5BD
Nearest train Station: South Kensington
Price: Free

National History Museum, London

9. Windsor Castle
This is the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world. It is open to visitors most of the year, but if the Queen is staying in the castle, you will know by the flag.
Not only the castle but this entire place has many other places to visit. There are beautiful gardens, boat rides, also Bungee Jump, and a variety of restaurants to choose from. This is the perfect place to visit any time of the year. Though it is quite far from central London, it is easy to get to and you should not miss this when in London.
The best part is that the regular ticket can also be converted to a yearly pass without any extra cost (just need your signature on the pass on exit) and you can visit any number of times for a year.

Address: Windsor Castle, SL4 1NJ
Nearest train Station: Windsor & Eton Riverside
Price: £23.50 for adult (there are other group & family ticket options as well)
