The Most Colorful and Flowery places in London

As the summer kicks in, it’s time to explore London’s alluring and colorful streets and gardens. There are so many places you could visit and enjoy the beautiful wisteria, lavender or cherry blossom. Though, Spring is the best time to enjoy all the flowery places but early summer is when the lavender starts to blossom.

So, if you think it’s late to enjoy the flowery season you then you are wrong, you are not late at all. Here is the list to help you plan your weekend and choose the perfect place:

  1. Mayfield Lavender Farms
    The stunning place to visit if you are looking for a beautiful purple farm. Best for photography. This is place is summer goals. The best time to visit here is end of June or early July, that is when the lavender is blooming most. This is the perfect place if you are looking to spend your Sunday with family and have some casual outing without the stress of much planning. Visit here to get all the details about the farm.
  2. Hampton court palace
    Another beautiful place for spring flowers bloom. Not only the beautiful gardens but also a stunning palace. You can easily spend entire day here, explore the palace and click some beautiful pictures at the park.
  3. Kew Gardens
    The best place if you want to go an outing with kids. A big garden with beautiful flower decor and a palace. Yes, you heard it right, there is a palace at Kew gardens as well , which was closed because of Covid restrictions.
  4. Greenwich park
    This park is famous because of its cherry blossom, you might have already visited here, if not then I think you should before its too late. 😄
    Everyone’s Instagram feed has at least one picture from this garden during spring. Yes, even I was surprised how come I missed this garden before.
  5. Buckingham palace
    We have all visited Buckingham palace at least once. But visiting here in spring is a treat, with colorful tulips all around. And do not have to enter the palace, it is actually outside the palace. 👇🏼
  6. Notting Hill
    Another street, which is already famous for its colorful houses and doors. During this time, the flowers blossom here as well, which gives us an opportunity to capture the colorful streets along with those attractive flowers.
    This is the best place if you want to just roam around and explore London a bit.
  7. Royal borough of Kensington and Chelsea
    This place is beautiful in itself and famous because of the Kensington palace (which might be closed due to covid restrictions). But you can give a visit here and capture the captivating streets. You will find the most beautiful wisteria here.
  8. Osterley Park
    A huge park and a palace with beautiful decorations from place to place. Though, it is called Osterley house but it is actually nothing less than a palace. Ideal for a family day outing and kids would love to visit here.
