Tried Instant Bread Cake Recipe for my Friend’s Birthday – No Baking

Well, this one is for all the beginners like me. It was my friend’s birthday last month (quarantine birthday) and I needed to bake a cake as we were avoiding to eat outside at that time due to pandemic of course.
I am still learning to bake and till now I have had many funny (bad) experiences. 🙈
So, I decided to go with this Vanilla-Fruit cake recipe as I couldn’t take risk of any blunder on her birthday. With this recipe, I get a yummy cake in just minutes & even without baking. Strange… right?? But the recipe is soooo easy and cake turns out to be delicious !!!

Make sure to go till the end of the post for checking out the things that could go wrong with this recipe & do not make mistakes I have already done.
Let’s begin then….

Ingredients required:

  • Fruit Bread (You can also use white bread – I used Raisin bread) : 16 slices
  • Whipped Cream: I whipped this at home using fresh double cream, condensed milk & Vanilla essence, it literally takes 15 minutes.
  • Mix fruit Juice : 4-5 Tbsp
  • Strawberry , Pineapple (cut into small pieces) – depends how much you want these in your cake
  • Cake decorating material (that’s totally optional and it depends how you want to decorate your cake) 🙂

Follow these easy steps now:

  1. Take the cake base board or a normal plate should do as well and spread a small amount of whipped cream on it. Like this 👇🏼
Spread cream on cake board

2. Align 4 Bread pieces to form a square then spread some Fruit juice over them for a nice fruit flavor. Like this 👇🏼

**Make sure you do not wet them with juice, we are spreading fruit juice just for the flavor and taste.

3. Now, Spread a generous amount of whipped cream over the first layer of Cake.

4. Spread some strawberry and pineapple pieces now. (You can try with some other fruits if you like)

Spread Fruits over the layer

5. Now, again put bread slices in the same form & shape. And keep repeating the steps 2 to 4. 😉

6. Spread the cream on the sides as well, if you are not able to spread the cream evenly on the sides then use a folk and create a design. 👇🏼

6. Finally, decorate your cake (the part I love but am not very good at that… currently 🙈)
But I tried to do something… 😳 👇🏼
I used leftover pieces of strawberry, pineapple and some sprinkles.
And your delicious cake is ready !!!

Things to keep in mind:

With this recipe,
First thing that can go wrong is the cream (if you are whipping at home). Keep in mind to use chilled cream and bowl. Make sure you do not over whip it.

Second thing, Make sure you do not over use fruit juice on the bread slices as it turns them too soft destroying the texture of the cake.
Only use 1 spoon on a single layer and try to spread that evenly.

Yummy in my Tummy 🙊
Quick Reminder – Keep smiling and spreading some 😀
