Healthy and tasty Beetroot Yogurt Salad in 10 Minutes

Beetroot is exceptionally nutritional and contains goodness of iron, minerals and vitamins.
It is also very good for skin as it contains vitamin C. Though it is so nutritional, some of us do not find it that yummy especially while eating it raw. πŸ™ˆ Am I right??
If yes, then this instant recipe is all you need to turn that beetroot to a yummy salad. It is super easy and quick to make whenever you want with Indian style tadka (tempering) to make it even more yummy.
But you can always avoid tadka part if you want to keep your salad healthy and simple. πŸ™‚

What do you need for this instant beetroot salad:

  • Boiled beetroot – 2
  • Yogurt – 3-4 tablespoon
  • Chaat Masala – as per taste
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Black pepper – as per taste
    For Tadka / Tempering (Optional):
  • Oil – 1 teaspoon
  • Mustard seeds – half teaspoon

Let’s Begin :

  1. Take Boiled beetroots and grate them. It would look something like below once grated :

2. Add 3-4 Tablespoon of curd, you can always add more if you want. Depends how you like it. πŸ™‚
And give it a good mix , The texture is so nice… πŸ‘‡πŸΌ

3. Add Salt, black pepper and Chaat Masala as per your taste (may be 1/4th teaspoon of everything and again mix)
And the Salad is ready , even without tempering it tastes delicious.

Optional : Tempering

Temper oil and mustard seeds and add it to the Salad. You can add curry leaves to the tadka.

Tips:

  1. I prefer this (below) Indian roasting Spoon for tempering, it’s so quick and convenient to temper using this. It rests just fine. You can get this on Amazon if you search for ‘Indian spice roasting spoon’.

2. And I get ready to eat cooked beetroots or You can also boil these at home and store in refrigerator for the next 2 days may be.
Also, I used Rajah Chaat Masala, which is available in all the stores of London. πŸ™‚
Obviously, You do not have to worry about all this if you are in India, everything is so easily available there. 😍

Literally, nothing could go wrong with this recipe unless you have ready to eat (cooked) beetroots. Whenever I am not sure what to eat, I turn towards this one πŸ™‚
