How to spend two days in Antalya, Turkey

Antalya is a beautiful city with many historic sites and astonishing waterfalls. Undoubtedly, you can easily spend 3-4 days in this beautiful city but if you are there for 2 days then this is a perfect itinerary for you. Before we begin, I would recommend hiring a taxi or renting a car to make most of it in Antalya. But if you couldn’t then don’t worry there are many city tours available as well.

Start with the Upper Duden waterfall, one of the famous tourist spots and is quite popular among locals as well, with a beautiful waterfall, garden, and caves. Again, do not get confused as Duden waterfalls are at two different places. Commonly known as Upper Duden waterfalls and Lower Duden waterfalls.

Duden Waterfall (Upper Duden waterfall)

Take a stroll in the garden, explore the natural caves behind the waterfalls, and enjoy the mesmerizing views.

Then, head towards Kursunlu waterfalls, another astonishing tourist spot. The entry here is 16TL per person (as of 2022), which is totally worth the place. No words can describe the beauty of this place. It is so unrealistic, a place where nature is at its best. You would definitely feel like you are walking in a beautiful Jungle with trees, and waterfalls all around you.

Kursunlu waterfalls

Have a nice break at the Osmalni cafe which you will find after a long walk, almost towards the end. I loved this place. I mean yes, I do not really have words to describe how beautiful it was and how relaxing it was to be there, looking at the unresting water.
You will probably be tired after roaming around this place. If you are not, then head towards the next destination which is Duden park or you can start with this one the next day.

The Lower Duden waterfall is also in Duden park. The sight of this waterfall will surely make you want to pause the time and contemplate getting lost.

The best part is you can actually go down near the waterfalls and enjoy the amazing view through the water curtain. It is only 5 Lira per person (adults), which is totally worth the view. There are loads of food & drinks options in the area for snacks or early dinner. The best one we found was Riveria cafe just near the parking.

The next day, start with exploring Kaleichi (old town) of Antalya. There are many small sightseeing places in the area along with the old town market which is best for shopping. Do not forget to buy some Turkish tea and the most iconic crockery sets.

Old Town

After having lunch in Kaleichi, old town. Head onto the Mediterranean from the Old Harbor, located in the northwest corner of the Old town. This place is a combination of cafes, restaurants, and mesmerizing views of the Mediterranean. The yachts ready to sail into the Mediterranean will certainly leave you astonished.
Perfect to enjoy your evening tea and enjoy the sunset.
